Why Waypoint?
The name Waypoint reflects guidance, direction, and clarity – all qualities that are essential in navigating the complexities of workplace investigations. Just as a waypoint serves as a trusted marker on a journey, we help organizations navigate sensitive and challenging matters such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and misconduct.
At Waypoint Workplace Investigations, we combine investigative rigor with impartial analysis to deliver well-reasoned, defensible findings and practical recommendations. Our consulting and training services go beyond fact-finding, offering organizations strategic insight into policies, practices, and cultural dynamics that strengthen compliance and foster healthier workplaces.

Julie R. Bryan, Founder & Principal
Julie’s experience as an attorney and employee relations professional gives her a unique combination of skills and knowledge to support your organization and its investigations. Julie has developed global training programs and analyzed data from thousands of investigations to determine trends, pain points and identify opportunities to improve the workplace culture and ensure employees feel supported.
Julie regularly teaches webinars on investigation skills and serves as faculty for the Association for Workplace Investigators Training Institute, the leading organization for world class training on the skills and knowledge needed to conduct thorough and impartial workplace investigations.
Workplace Investigations
At Waypoint Workplace Investigations, we leverage experience, discretion and sensitivity to provide independent and impartial workplace investigations that help employers address misconduct, resolve conflicts, and reduce legal risk. Waypoint combines deep experience in employment law, human resources, and employee relations with an unparallelled understanding of industry standards for workplace investigations, ensuring your investigations are incontestable. Although investigations will often be led by experienced employment attorneys, Waypoint will not be acting as legal counsel to your organization, allowing the investigators to testify about the sufficiency of the investigation should you need to defend the investigation in court.
When a concern is reported, from bullying and harassment to discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination, a timely, thorough, unbiased response not only protects your organization but reinforces your commitment to a safe, respectful, and compliant workplace.
We investigate all types of concerns, including but not limited to:
- Discrimination
- Harassment, including sexual harassment
- Bullying
- Wrongful Termination
- Retaliation under Title VII or state law
- Breach of employment agreements
- Threats, intimidation, and workplace violence
